THE POWER OF THE MUSTANG
Our world transforms when we value the wisdom available in the natural world

Our Mission:
- Support individuals navigating life transitions through education, programs, and resources that restore stability, confidence, and direction.
- Advance the humane treatment of all horses by promoting responsible care, ethical practices, and informed stewardship.
- Protect and preserve wild horses—both free-roaming and captive—through education, advocacy, and public awareness.
- Conduct research that demonstrates the value of mustangs by documenting how they support human growth, resilience, and life change.
More than animals—horses are powerful catalysts for building resilience, increasing confidence, and initiating change

Shalyce Cluff
Founder & Host of The Touch of a Mustang Podcast
Shalyce is an educator and mentor who helps individuals align their inner world, rebuild confidence, and move forward with purpose—in life and with their horse. Her work is inspired by what mustangs teach us about resilience and trust.
The Touch of a Mustang combines psychological principles with real-world experience. Shalyce discovered the power of mustangs when she adopted her first mare shortly after the birth of her sixth child. During that season, she walked through a difficult stretch of life, and working with her mustang guided her through the personal changes needed to cultivate strength, resilience, and peace.
Today, she shares the principles she learned to help others create a life they truly love—even in the face of life’s inevitable challenges. Through her podcast, she highlights the value of wild mustangs and advocates for their protection.
Shalyce holds a master’s degree in Educational Psychology and has over a decade of experience teaching psychology and human development.
